solidarityUpdate on Olympia May Day Incident and Prisoner SolidarityOn May 1 in Olympia, WA a group of about two hundred people had a rally in solidarity with the immigrants’ rights and anti-war movements. The rally was followed with a march to the capital where activists gathered outside of the governor’s door, making their presence known and urging her to support the proposal of making Olympia a sanctuary city for undocumented immigrants.

Donnell Summers: Non-Violent Civil Disobedience to help get JusticeDonnell Summers, a North Toledo native was arrested on October 15th 2005 while peacefully demonstrating the Neo-Nazi presence in the neighborhood of Lagrange. He was sentenced to 3 months work release, and 3 years probation with a 6 month suspended prison sentence. This was for a misdemeanor conviction of riot.
