Created Equal: Condom Couture is an outrage to Ohio taxpayers!
By syndicated_content on 20 Oct 2011Wednesday evening, Mark Harrington and his latest knock off, Created Equal, planned to picket a private fashion show fundraiser for Planned Parenthood of Central Ohio held at the Shadowbox Theatre on S. Front Street. .While any excuse to picket Planned Parenthood is a good excuse for Harrington, this event billed as "Condom Couture"--condom-inspired fashion with a cause" has driven the usually grumpy Harrington into the street. (As of this writing, I've been unable to learn if anyone showed up--I'll update when I do).

If a Columbus area property has been grandfathered due to zoning issues, it may not be a big deal and it may seem good in some cases for the Buyer BUT Fannie/Freddie could certainly have a problem with this sort of situation.

Downtown Columbus Traffic Updates – Ramps/Exits Closing

As part of the Columbus Crossroads project, (i.e.-The I70-71 split fix by the ODOT) several ramp closures are in effect.
The ramp from 5th Avenue to I-71 south is closed until November 2012; the detour is Leonard Avenue.

Urban Design Lessons from the State Up North

We left from Chicago on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, turned the corner around Lake Michigan, and started heading north towards Mackinac Island. We stayed along the Lake Michigan coast for the most part, stopping in many little tourist towns along the way. I didn’t take pictures in all of them, but almost all were very charming, with what appear to be very healthy central business districts. I know the tourist money helps with the business aspect, but there were some trends and commonalities that I think are worth noting:
