The corporate media in Canada and the United States have been virtually silent about the overwhelming victory for the PSUV. That's a good sign. It tells us that they do not like the results. If Chavez were defeated, they would have provided extensive coverage, 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Trick or Treat Congressional Style!

It's Halloween kiddies and lots of treats are in store for voters fed up with congressional tricksters. Today's scary story comes from the 12th congressional district of Ohio, where baby faced "family values" incumbent Pat Tiberi (R), is putting on his monster mask in an effort to scare voters away from his opponent David Robinson.

Outraged sheriff in Illinois refuses to evict "innocent" renters from foreclosed homes

Message to the activist movement, community organizations, union locals and activists in the Columbus area. If a sheriff can stand and fight for the dispossessed, surely we can too. Isn't it time to unite and build a mass direct action campaign to fight against all evictions.
