In what appears to be the culmination of a several year long case the state has been building against I-69 resistance, two Indiana residents, Tiga and Hugh, were arrested this afternoon.

Fifteen I-69 opponents were arrested Monday morning blocking the entrance to Gohmann Asphalt, and need your support and solidarity. Many of them are being held on trumped up felony charges, and some of the female-bodied arrestees have been put in exceedingly unsafe situations.

The fight against the NAFTA Superhighway is in full swing! On May 19th, the first tree sit went up in the branches. Over two weeks later, it's still there and growing! This marks the beginning of this Summer's direct action campaign against I-69... but only the very beginning. There's more to come, and we need to find ways to document and publicize everything that is and will be happening.
