Federal Lawsuit Filed to Protect 2004 Voting Record

At 12:45pm today Cliff Arnebeck delivered a lawsuit on the part of several groups and individuals in Ohio asking that the 2004 voting record and ballots be protected and investigated. Cliff Arnebeck of Ohio Honest Elections along with the Free Press have documented systematic voting fraud from the 2004 election. Cliff Arnebeck being interviewed by various media outside of the federal courthouse. Currently Secretary of State Ken Blackwell has stated that he intends to ask the counties to retain the voting record for a few more months. While this sounds good without a solid commitment and action on this issue it is difficult to know that it will happen. The 22 month required records retention for the 2004 voting record expires on September 2, 2006. If the expiration is not delayed by either the Secretary of State or the courts the historical record of the misdeeds done during the 2004 election cycle will be lost forever.
