President Bush announces Judge John Roberts as his nominee as Chief Justice to the U.S. Supreme Court.
With the death of Former chief-justice, William Rehnquist, Bush has the opportunity to fill 2 of 9 spots on the Supreme court, something not done since Nixon, '71. Wonderful news for anyone without their fill of human rights negligence this decade. Not only is Bush nominating Roberts officially for Supreme Court, he is trying to get him in the Chief Justice position, which nixes the ability for a Democrat to enter said position.
This is classic Bush regime technique of splitting the public between news, media censorship and shiesty practices.
Karl Rove leaks CIA information, a nation indifferent because bush uses john roberts to divert attention. Then when roberts was feeling the heat from NOW! and most of liberal america with vested interest in their own bodies and free-will, the london bombings are used by bush to re create a fear from which only a strong fisted regime like his could qualm, or so he portrayed. Roberts forgotten. And now, in perfect timing, and under scrutiny for his dealings with hurricane katrina, bush makes a nomination which could alter our next 30 years, if not american(global) history forever. Go to www.whitehouse.gov and notice that this nomination, on the whitehouse website, is dwarfed by satisfying stories of relief in new orleans. which may or may not be true of course.
