How Ohio Can Save Money Nonviolently
Update: In the Ohio Senate race of 2010, the May primary
will have Jennifer Brunner Secretary of State running against Lee Fisher.
Fisher has a history of promoting the illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Ohio govt. has been in terrible financial shape. It can save money by
ending expenditures for the following:
1. There are only 9 states still murdering prisoners in death chambers. Ohio
is the only northern state involved. Ted Strickland says he is a former pastor.
Perhaps he has forgotten that Jesus ended an execution in progress.
Executions violate international law
(hundreds of millions for prosecutors, security
at execution prisons, and the costs of the govt.
murder machine)
2. Ohio govt's cooperation in the violent and illegal wars in Afghanistan
3. the promotion of hunting through Ohio Dept of Natl Resources
to an ever dwindling group of animal stalkers
4. the subsidizing of brutal animal research
at state universities
5. the promotion of toxic 'vaccines' for Roche, Glaxo, Lilly, Pfizer,
Bayer, Merck etc.
6. the wage, gas, and machine repair expense (as well as environmental
negatives) of mowing median strips on state highways and
meadows in parks.
Meanwhile the Ohio Turnpike is in terrible condition and
not yet acted on is the resurrection of the Cincinnati to Cleveland
and other raillines which were deliberately destroyed by
the car-oil-tire triumvirate in the first part of the last century.
7. the imprisonment is countless nonviolent drug users
