THis is an important meetup
By Anonymous Indymedia User (not verified) on 11 Mar 2008 at about 20:47.THis is an important meetup because there is a movement within CAN to make it more democratic and less controlled by the ISO. Anyone who can should show support.
The Campus Antiwar Network
By Chris Dols (not verified) on 18 Mar 2008 at about 16:47.The Campus Antiwar Network is growing and it's democratic and it is not controlled by anyone except its own members. You should come to this conference if you're interested in building the biggest possible student antiwar movement. But if you're mission is to breed baloney about underhanded reds then stay at home. If anyone wants to ask a member of the International Socialist Organization who is committed to building CAN about their politics, then you should. But when you do--assuming that you indeed share the goal of building the strongest possible movement against the war--you should start by thanking them for their work!
Enough of this anonymous suspicion-breeding! See you in Iowa City!
