I attended the days events at OSU regarding the murders of Shaima Alawadi and Trayvon Martin.
It's a shame that in 2012 we have to come out en masse for issues like this. However, until we adequately deal with the state, capitalism, and the exploitation, oppression, and domination those systems force upon us, we'll likely be having many more rallies and vigils against senseless hate-based violence.
I didn't interview anyone, so I'll keep this brief.

You can be certain the republicans in the U.S. Congress will always protect the private insurance industry. Thats why you must visit the internet site of ( Single Payer Action ) and find that they want to have a Government run single payer health insurance system. This single payer health insurance that "Single Payer Action" wants will have no deductibles, co-pays or bills and nobody will be left out of the system. To me this is far better than what we have today and that is we always end up feeding the private health insurance HOG and all we get for our troubles is another bill.
