With Single Payer Health Insurance There Are No Deductibles
By Anonymous Indymedia User on 29 Mar 2012With the private health insurance system you pay sky high premiums, deductibles and co-pays. You can be certain the republicans in the U.S. Congress will always protect the private insurance industry. Thats why you must visit the internet site of ( Single Payer Action ) and find that they want to have a Government run single payer health insurance system. This single payer health insurance that "Single Payer Action" wants will have no deductibles, co-pays or bills and nobody will be left out of the system. To me this is far better than what we have today and that is we always end up feeding the private health insurance HOG and all we get for our troubles is another bill.

Lynch Law U.S.A.: State Defends Murderer of Trayvon Martin

Trayvon Martin
MARCH 26 – Outrage over the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin compounds daily as the killer remains free, facing no criminal charges for gunning down the unarmed black youth from Miami Gardens, Florida. On February 26, George Zimmerman, 28, a white self-appointed captain of a “neighborhood watch” team in the Retreat at Twin Lakes, a gated community in the Orlando suburb of Sanford, shot Martin, a black high-school student, who after going out to buy a bag of Skittles and an ice tea at a convenience store was returning to the home in the development where he and his father were staying. As many have noted, Trayvon Martin was killed for the “crime” of “walking while black.”

Mr. Obama, I'm Out
By Anonymous Indymedia User on 22 Mar 2012When I donated 250 bucks to the Obama for President campaign in the spring of 2008, I was about as excited as any cynic can be. I had soured on the Democrats for, what I thought was, forever after eight years of Clinton corporatism, welfare reform and Tipper Gore's attacks on rock 'n roll. I resolved never again to vote for another Democrat for president, and certainly to never vote for another southern white guy regardless of his political persuasion. I gladly voted for Nader in 2000 and I'd do it again. Remember, Al Lieberman was Mr. Gore's running mate.

Urban Farming For Profit
By syndicated_content on 20 Mar 2012I have long believed that urban farming cannot be truly sustainable unless there are people who can earn a living or partial living at it. It needs to turn into small business to remain with us for a long time. We need to consider our local ordinances and our attitudes about urban farming so that it is viewed like any other small business and is welcomed in our neighborhoods.
